Arthur Graham opened the scoring for City in the fifth minute and that was how it remained at half-time. But he added his second in the sixty-first minute and Mark Ellis made it 0-3 ten minutes before time. Ronnie Robinson took over from Brian Caswell at Left Back at Half-Time and John Stiles replaced Peter Haddock at Right Back after eighty-four minutes for Leeds, while for Bradford City, Gavin Oliver replaced Martin Singleton after fifty minutes and Adrian Thorpe came on for Greg Abbott after eighty-three minutes. The game was played at Odsal Stadium. The Referee was T.S. Simpson (Sowerby Bridge).
